What is COVID-19 ?
COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, which comes under the large family of viruses known as coronaviruses (CoV). The disease is also known as coronavirus disease, can cause a variety of illnesses, from the common cold to more serious conditions like Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV) [1].
Symptoms
Different people are affected by COVID-19 in various ways. The majority of infected individuals will experience mild to moderate sickness and recover without being hospitalized.

Moderate Symptoms
Most of the time, the virus causes symptoms like fever, weariness, dyspnea, coughing, etc., but these symptoms might worsen if the right precautions are not taken.
Serious Symptoms
Chest pain, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, loss of speech or mobility, confusion, or breathing difficulties for those with comorbidities, who are typically elderly, the illness can become fatal and result in pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and multi-organ failure, which affects a person’s ability to breathe and necessitates the use of a ventilator [2].
